A huge thank you to Katline Magi and everyone involved in making the Geek Out event at Twisted Barrel on May 3 2025 such a stellar success! Set in the heart of Fargo Village and packed with energy, creativity and a whole lot of cosplay, the day brought together gamers, Star Wars superfans and mental health advocates for a cause that truly matters.
This year’s event had a special twist, falling on the weekend of the iconic Star Wars Day, the theme was galactically clear: May the 4th be with you! Whether you were wielding a lightsaber, channelling your inner Jedi or just stopping by in a Wookiee onesie, it was all about having fun while sparking powerful conversations around mental health.
Emily, one of our wonderful ambassadors, was proud to be there with a stall, chatting to attendees about our services, how to access support and why events like this are vital for breaking down stigma and bringing mental health into everyday conversation. The response was incredible, we had meaningful discussions, met some amazing individuals and felt a true sense of community.
