We are proud to introduce Sandra Godley OBE as our newly appointed President, as we celebrate 60 years of supporting local people with their mental health.

About Sandra

Sandra Godley OBE is a singer, songwriter, broadcaster and businesswoman and a MOBO-nominated artist with a strong commitment to mental health and community wellbeing.  She has been involved with CWW Mind for several years and brings both lived experience and creative insight to the role.

Sandra’s advocacy for mental health has been shaped by her experience of grief during the Covid-19 pandemic, which inspired her song, My Darling.  Released in memory of her aunt, the track also raised funds for CWW Mind and helped give voice to others experiencing loss.

She is a passionate supporter of the concept of “mental wealth”, highlighting the role creativity and music can play in emotional wellbeing.
