In August this year, our ecotherapy service, The Environment and Me (TEaM) received a fantastic donation – it’s very own workshop!
Dunster House is an amazing organisation, who, while selling the most beautiful sheds, cabins and workshops, are also heavily involved in humanitarian work all around the world. The formidable Jackie Fisk contacted the amazing Georgios and his team, who agreed to provide us with everything needed to build our own workshop.
This is goes a long way towards us becoming more sustainable, while providing much needed warmth in the winter months, when physical work
isn’t as required. Moreover, it means that cold and wet weather is less likely to stop important wellbeing sessions from running.
We would like to thank Jackie Fisk and Kelly Stevens for always putting our clients first, and ensuring that everyone has access to mental health support in nature. And to our incredible volunteers – Steve, Gale, Chad, Mark, and Matt, without whom we would not be able to deliver our service.
Our workshop was built by staff, volunteers and clients. They worked diligently until the project was finished, with support from Dunster House marketing team, project managed by volunteer, Mark.
