Supported by Dancing Feet, Coventry and unveiled at Coventry Does Strictly in October, our brand new community wellbeing vehicle will enable us to access underserved and rural areas, delivering mental health support in local communities rather than just expecting people to come to one of our buildings across Coventry and Warwickshire.
Our business plan for 2022-2027 focuses on being more impactful, diverse, innovative, courageous and inclusive and this new vehicle will help us achieve these aims by reaching service users close to where they live.
We are actively seeking community venues and spaces in which we can visit with our new vehicle to raise awareness, provide support and signpost to our services.
Do you know of a school with a playground or field? Does your place of work have a car park? Or perhaps you know of a village or town centre with enough open space to park a van. We’d love to hear from you with any proposals. Our friendly, compassionate and highly-trained staff will be on hand to talk about Coventry and Warwickshire Mind and how we can support your and your loved ones’ mental health.
