On Thursday 27 June, Coventry and Warwickshire Mind were invited to attend the Words 4 Wellbeing event at the University of Warwick.
The event was a great opportunity for staff, students and community members to find out more about different wellbeing support services across the region. From blackout poetry and test tube telegrams, to mindfulness sessions and external speakers, there was something for everyone to get involved in.
We had the chance to make lots of new connections, chatting with students, staff and external guests about the support we offer. We spoke to staff about workplace wellbeing and students about how we can support them as they navigate their university journey.
About the event, the University of Warwick said:
In today’s fast-paced and interconnected world, the need for mental health and emotional well-being has never been more pressing. By encouraging open, inclusive conversations and creating an integrated environment centred around lived experiences, we aim to break down barriers and cultivate a research culture that values creativity, empathy, and collaboration.
Thank you to Catherine Louch, Associate Director of Business Partnership, for the invite.
