The past few months have seen lots of exciting changes and updates to Space 2 Thrive, our domestic abuse mental health service.

We are delighted to welcome our new manager, Rhupinder Kaur, to the team! Rhupinder brings a wealth of experience in mental health, having worked with a diverse client group throughout her career. Having overseen successful projects that have expanded and improved service delivery, her strategic vision and leadership skills are key assets for our continued development.

I am incredibly excited to join Space2Thrive and work alongside such a dedicated team,” Rhupinder shares. “Together, we will continue to grow and enhance our services, ensuring that we provide the best possible support for our clients.” Welcome, Rhupinder! We are confident that her leadership will drive our service forward in innovative and impactful ways.

We are overjoyed to announce that after a successful two-year pilot period, the S2T service has been recommissioned for an additional four years! This means we can continue our vital partnership work in collaboration with local commissioners, domestic abuse agencies, and their users. Our goal is to further develop our trauma-informed counselling and wellbeing support to meet the needs of those accessing our services. Exciting times ahead!

In addition to our current services, we’re expanding our offer and are in the early stages of developing mental health and wellbeing awareness sessions and training for partner users and agency staff. This new initiative aims to create a supportive environment for continuous learning and development, sharing valuable knowledge, and enhancing skills to contribute to a more informed service approach.

We’ve moved! We have moved from one Coventry and Warwickshire Mind building to another and are excited to settle into our new home! While we will miss our Children and Young People’s colleagues, this move will help us better align our services with other adult community and wellbeing programs, enhancing the support we provide to our users.

Please note that our volunteer placement counselling service remains closed. For any counsellor placement queries, please continue to email admin@cwmind.org.uk.
