In an incredible display of energy, teamwork, and compassion, the Les-Mills-A-Thon 2025 has raised more than £10,000 for Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind, helping to strengthen mental health support across the region.
On Sunday 12th October, Bridgette and her passionate team of 35 Les Mills instructors, joined by Les Mills presenters Anthony Oxford and Mike Bellato, transformed Wyre Forest Leisure Centre into a hub of positivity and purpose.
For four unforgettable hours, participants took part in back-to-back Les Mills workouts, from Body Combat and Body Pump to Grit and Sprint. With nine programmes to choose from, everyone was encouraged to move at their own pace, whether they were seasoned gym-goers or first-time participants. What united them all was a shared commitment to making a difference.
The atmosphere was electric, filled with smiles, sweat, and shared strength. For just £20, hundreds came together not just to work out, but to champion mental health awareness and show that even small actions can lead to powerful change.
Bridgette described the event as “an incredible success,” adding, “Everyone gave their all and had so much fun doing it. It’s amazing to see how fitness can bring people together for such an important cause.”
The money raised will help fund two vital local services that make a real difference to people’s lives:
- Safe Haven Worcestershire, which provides a safe, supportive space for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis. Offering phone and face-to-face support seven days a week (6:00pm–1:00am) from its base in Redditch, the service provides a listening ear, guidance, and hope when people need it most.
- A new Mind premises in Worcester City Centre, which will offer a range of mental health services to support the growing needs of the local community.
This incredible event is a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together with passion and purpose. A heartfelt thank you goes to Bridgette and her entire team for their dedication, energy, and the difference they have made to so many lives.
Together, they proved that movement is more than just exercise; it is a force for good.
