The Strictly Experience was a huge hit

Our achievements

The standout moment for our fundraising team this year was the Strictly Come Dancing Experience, which raised an incredible £26,952 and even featured in a BBC article. This was just one of many highlights, alongside our Mental Elf Fun Run, bringing together over 220 participants and 17 volunteers, raising £7,829, and our Summer Masquerade Ball.

We were also proud to be backed by fantastic community fundraisers and local companies including Les Mills, Coventry Hearsall Golf Club, Dental Elite and Spencer Gardner Dickins, who together made a huge difference. To all our supporters, thank you for standing with us.

Once we heard about the incredible support Coventry and Warwickshire Mind were offering locally, we wanted to use our harvest appeal to help. We are delighted to fundraise for such an incredible charity and raise awareness of their work. Rev Kate Massey from St Paul’s Stockingford, who raised over £1,300.

Looking forward

We’re building on a successful fundraising year by expanding our events and growing opportunities, particularly in Worcestershire. This year, we’re excited to deliver two Mental Elf Fun Runs and to take our Strictly Experience to the larger Belgrade Theatre. Alongside these flagship events, we’ll continue working with local businesses and partners on community fundraisers, while also securing in-kind donations and room sponsorships for our new supported living development, Berry Mews.
