Our achievements
A key milestone this year was the merger with South Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind, finalised on 30 September 2024 and effective from 1 October 2024. The process was overseen by a dedicated project group including the Chairs of both organisations, selected Trustees, both CEOs, and the Deputy CEO of Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, with support from an independent project manager. Throughout the six-month planning period (April–September 2024), additional Board meetings were held to ensure strong oversight and to ratify key decisions.

We worked with services to ensure each one adopted a ‘no door is the wrong door’ approach, extending our support into more community spaces such as McDonald’s. We also increased our visibility through our community wellbeing vehicle, offering safe, welcoming support directly where people need it most.
Looking forward
Our priorities for the coming year include completing construction and launching Berry Mews as a new residential service, while continuing to grow the reach of both existing and new services across Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. We will also publish a refreshed version of our 2022–2027 strategic business plan and begin co-producing the next plan for 2027–2032. Looking ahead, preparations are underway for our sixtieth anniversary in 2026, which we will mark with a series of celebratory and fundraising events recognising six decades of service.
