Music, community spirit, and generosity took centre stage as Deeley Group’s Gig for Good event raised an incredible £30,250 for Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind.

Held at Coventry Rugby Club’s Butts Park Arena, the event brought together businesses and supporters from across the region for an unforgettable evening of live music and fundraising. The success of this year’s event has also taken the total amount raised through Deeley Group’s charity band nights beyond the remarkable milestone of £100,000.

Celebrating an incredible achievement

Organised by the Trustees of the Deeley Group Charity, Gig for Good formed part of Deeley Group’s 90th anniversary celebrations and brought together local businesses, partners, and supporters for a night dedicated to making a difference.

We are incredibly grateful that Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind was chosen as the beneficiary charity for this year’s event, particularly as we celebrate our own 60th anniversary year.

The £30,250 raised will help us continue providing vital mental health support to people across Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire, ensuring that nobody has to face a mental health problem alone.

A night of music, community and generosity

The evening was filled with fantastic live music, fundraising, and a shared commitment to supporting mental health within our local communities.

Events like Gig for Good demonstrate the power of businesses coming together to create meaningful change. Through the generosity of everyone who attended, supported, sponsored, and donated, the evening delivered not only an incredible fundraising total but also raised awareness of the importance of mental health support across our region.

Making a difference through mental health support

Funds raised through Gig for Good will help us continue delivering life-changing services across Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

The fundraising will contribute towards supporting projects including Berry Mews, our new supported living service in Foleshill. The 26-bed development will provide a stepping stone for people leaving mental health units, helping them rebuild confidence, independence, and connections within their community.

The event will also help support our eco-therapy programme in Spon End, where people are encouraged to improve their wellbeing through outdoor activities, nature, and connection with green spaces.

Every pound raised helps us continue delivering support to children, young people, and adults experiencing mental health challenges.
