On Wednesday 3 July, residents, staff and service users from Harry Salt House, St Clair Gardens and our outreach service met to celebrate a Festival of Culture and Diversity.
During the day, there were insightful talks from our partners, including P3 Charity, Sky Blues in the Community – Men Talk (featuring everyone’s favourite therapy dog, Winnie), Chat Central, Red Card Gambling, and The WATCH Centre.
Clients enjoyed mindful colouring, meditation, planting seeds and games. We also ate a variety of international cuisine, including Indian, Chinese, Mexican and African.
We finished the day with full bellies and a wealth of information and knowledge about other support services available to us.
A big thank you to Shiksha from Sugar and Spice by S for the kind donation of 48 cupcakes, and Donna-Lee, for her superb cooking and organising.
