The event saw crowds of men, women, and children competing for prizes using their beards. This year’s theme was ‘Strong Man,’ with competitions including weight lifting and pulling objects with beards or moustaches.
Sue Higgins and her daughter Faith King organized the event, which raised £500, split between Zoe’s Place Hospice and Coventry and Warwickshire Mind.
Faith said: “It was such a fun day, and everyone had a great time.
“We have been doing the event for a few years. It is a great way to raise money for a good cause.”
Women and children creatively made their own fun beards to get involved with all the excitement.
A huge thank you to the team at the Oxford Beard Festival for choosing to support us. The funds will be used to help support our 20+ services within Coventry and Warwickshire.
