On Wednesday 30 April, we had the pleasure of attending DHL’s second wellbeing event at their large distribution depot in Warwickshire. The event brought together a variety of stands, primarily featuring organisations that DHL has corporate relationships with, offered through their staff app. We were proud to be a local service represented on the day.

DHL’s workforce is diverse, ranging from shop floor staff to senior and area managers. Notably, the company ensured that every employee was given authorised time away from their workstations to participate in the event, a clear reflection of their commitment to staff wellbeing.

The day was full of meaningful engagement, and as always, it was a privilege to listen to people’s stories. A recurring message from many attendees was their belief that accessing support would take months or even years, leading many to delay reaching out altogether.

This made the event a perfect opportunity to raise awareness of our Wellbeing for Warwickshire and Safe Haven services, and to highlight that support is available – and often much sooner – than people expect.

Events like this are a powerful reminder of the importance of making services visible and accessible. We’re grateful to have been involved and look forward to continuing to build awareness within our local communities.
