On Thursday 29 August, Coventry and Warwickshire Mind were ‘sent to Coventry’ Cathedral to take part in a community charity day celebrating the Cathedral’s first anniversary of becoming a charity.
With lots of local charities including Myton Hospice, Cats Protection and Hope Coventry, it was a great opportunity to talk to residents and visitors alike about mental health and the services we offer.
We encouraged candid conversations about wellbeing through activities like making stress balls, creating friendship bracelets, and lucky dips, and make connections with lots of local organisations about how we can support their staff through training, resources and corporate partnerships.
A huge thank you to Coventry Cathedral for organising the event. We can’t wait to be back for the second anniversary next year!
