Our wellbeing hub in Coventry opened its doors during Mental Health Awareness Week for a day of wellbeing activities and delicious food.

The brilliant team of staff and volunteers at our hub welcomed service users and members of the public for an open day promoting positive mental health for Mental Health Awareness Week. The sunshine and warm weather allowed us to use the garden for outdoor games and crafts, including pottery painting.

Inside, there were lots of conversations about mental health and the different ways we can look after our own wellbeing. Along with activities like dancing, chair yoga and board games, the team put on a feast of food and drink, which everybody enjoyed in the sunny garden.

Everyone really enjoyed the day and felt that spend a few hours with other people, chatting and taking part in activities, really boosted their mental health and wellbeing.
