Joshua Buxton, an Explorer Scout from the 1st Nuneaton Scouts, and his team did a park run and ran a 5K run in aid of Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, raising an outstanding £743 for us.
“The group and I chose to do the fundraiser for Coventry and Warwickshire Mind because we needed to do something about the stigma around mental health and to spread awareness. I have personally suffered from poor mental health. I’ve had thoughts of suicide and self-harm, and after that, I’ve chosen to get the help needed. I’m progressively getting better.” Joshua Buxton.
