Coventry and Warwickshire Mind delivers services to looked-after children, their parents/carers and professionals. We provide services directly to:
- Children and young people in residential or foster-care
- Adopted children and young people
- Foster carers
- Adopters
- Professionals working with children looked after
Our offer for children
We aim to build our support around what children and young people feel they need through creative play and activities, counselling, telephone/text/email support and emotional wellbeing support, including:
- A safe space to share your thoughts and feelings
- Help you to understand how you feel
- Practical support to better manage your emotions or behaviours
- Information
- Help you to identify what you want and need to improve your emotional health
- Someone to help you have your voice heard
We provide these services across Warwickshire in venues to suit the needs of individuals. Our staff team includes Counsellors, Primary Mental Health Workers (PMHWs), Play Therapists and Social Workers.

- Advice, support and training around behaviour, attachment and mental health and wellbeing
- Parent and Child Attachment Play (PCAP)
- One-to-one support around practical strategies
