A huge thank you to everyone who made our recent Mental Elf 5K Fun Run at the War Memorial park in Coventry such an unforgettable day! With over 200 runners taking part, this festive 5k truly brought the community together to support mental health.
The energy and excitement was contagious, and it wasn’t just about the run, the day was packed with joy, laughter, and community spirit. Our runners dashed through the finish line with incredible spirit, earning prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. But the fun didn’t stop there! The adorable elves on four legs stole the show, with our Best Dressed Dog competition bringing smiles to everyone’s faces. From festive collars to tiny elf hats, our canines showed their fur-tastic festive fashion.
Warwick Elite Dance School delivered a sparkling performance that warmed our hearts. Their festive moves and joyful energy set the perfect tone, reminding us all that movement, music, and community go hand-in-hand.
We’d like to extend a special thanks to Warwick Sport, our amazing corporate sponsor, for kicking off the event with an Elf-tastic Countdown that had everyone pumped and ready to go! Their support made the day even more memorable.
This day wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible:
- Volunteers who gave their time and effort.
- Ambassadors who championed the cause.
- Stall holders who helped make the event extra special.
Thanks to your boundless energy, enthusiasm, and generosity, we’ve raised an incredible £7,829! These funds will go directly toward providing essential mental health support in the local community.
We’d also like to give a heartfelt shout-out to Lancaster Mind, the brilliant team behind the original Mental Elf concept.
Mental Elf Coventry will be back in 2025! More information to follow.
Thank you again for all your support!
