Coventry and Warwickshire Mind would like to say a huge THANK YOU to The Yard Coventry and Glamorous Bar for the amazing fundraising efforts during Coventry Pride.
We’re thrilled to share that, thanks to their amazing support and the sale of Pride wristbands over the first weekend in August, a fantastic £2,200 has been raised in aid of our charity.
These funds will help us continue supporting the Out in Mind project, which provides vital mental health support to LGBTQ+ asylum seekers and migrants. Working with Out in Cov, Out in Mind provides a safe space for members to build friendships, overcome isolation, and learn about the asylum process. Through empowering workshops which focus on physical, mental, and social wellbeing, they actively engage with other groups and participate in public events like Pride and Refugee Week.
For over a year, these two incredible LGBTQ+ venues have been working together to raise mental health awareness and actively fundraise for our ongoing efforts.
