We would like to say a huge thank you to FSDance School for hosting an incredible 30-year anniversary show in support of Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind.
This year marked a truly special milestone as FSDance School celebrated 30 years of dance, community and growth. With a hop, skip and a jump, dancers of all ages took to the stage from the youngest children to adult performers sharing their confidence, joy and pride with a packed audience. The show was more than just a performance; it was a reflection of who they are as a school and as a family.
At FSDance School, dance is about far more than steps and routines. It is a safe, supportive space where young people grow in confidence through movement, creativity and self-expression. Supporting positive mental health is central to their ethos, creating an environment where everyone feels seen, valued and encouraged. The anniversary show beautifully captured these values in action.
We were especially proud that this celebration was also used to raise funds for Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind. The connection between FSDance School’s commitment to nurturing young people and our work supporting mental health across local communities made this event particularly meaningful.
Thanks to the dedication of the dancers, the support of families and the generosity of everyone who attended and donated, an incredible £2,181.91 was raised. These funds will go directly to our Children and Young People’s Services, helping us continue to provide vital mental health support to young people across the region.
The evening was a powerful reminder of what community, compassion and connection can achieve. By dancing together and supporting one another, FSDance School not only celebrated 30 wonderful years but also made a lasting difference to mental health in their community.
We are truly grateful to everyone at FSDance School, every dancer, supporter, volunteer, and audience member, who helped make this milestone celebration so special. Your support enables us to continue providing guidance, support, and opportunities for people to improve and maintain their mental wellbeing.
