On Saturday 5 April 2025, the Bedworth Ex-Servicemen’s Club was buzzing with energy and community spirit for a Family Fun Day hosted by the passionate and dedicated Charlie Carter. The event was a fantastic celebration of togetherness, raising vital funds to support mental health in the community through Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind.
From the moment the doors opened, it was clear just how much thought and effort had gone into the day. With a tombola, raffles, incredible prizes, and a DJ spinning feel-good tunes, the atmosphere was nothing short of electric. Families, friends, and supporters of all ages came together to enjoy the festivities, creating a space filled with laughter, excitement, and most importantly, meaningful conversations around mental health.
It wasn’t just a day of fun – it was a day of purpose. Every activity, every prize, and every conversation contributed to a bigger cause: supporting mental health services for those who need them most. Thanks to Charlie’s hard work and the generosity of everyone who attended, funds raised on the day will go directly towards helping people across the community access the support they deserve.
This event was a shining example of how powerful community can be when we come together for a common cause.
