Yesterday, we had the incredible opportunity to bring our wellbeing vehicle to the Coventry Building Society Arena for the Coventry City v Portsmouth match.
Football has a unique way of bringing people together and we were proud to be right at the heart of it all, using that energy and community spirit to spark important conversations around mental health. As fans gathered to cheer on their teams, we were parked just outside the stadium, ready to chat, listen and raise awareness.
Our wellbeing vehicle served as a welcoming space for supporters from both sides to stop by, have a chat and learn more about looking after their mental wellbeing. From sharing helpful resources to simply having a friendly chat, we were there to remind everyone that it’s okay to talk – whether you’re celebrating a win or coping with a tough loss.
The response from fans was amazing. We had some fantastic conversations, handed out plenty of information and most importantly, helped break down the stigma around mental health – one conversation at a time.
Big thanks to Coventry City FC, Coventry Building Society Arena, and all the supporters who came by to say hello. It’s days like these that show the power of sport in bringing people together for a greater cause.
