The Strictly Experience 2026 Raises £49,100 for Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind
Glitter, glamour, and goodwill took centre stage once again as The Strictly Experience 2026 returned to The Belgrade Theatre on 28 March 2026, delivering an unforgettable evening of dance, entertainment, and fundraising in support of Coventry, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire Mind.
Following the phenomenal success of last year’s event, which raised £27,000, this year’s show proved to be even bigger, bolder, and more dazzling than ever, raising an incredible £49,100 for Coventry, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire Mind.
Winners crowned on a spectacular night
After an evening of outstanding performances and fierce but friendly competition, Couple 19 – Grace Fricker and Roy Healey were crowned winners of The Strictly Experience 2026, impressing both the judges and audience with their skill, storytelling, and stage presence.
The runners-up were Chermiece Plume and Adam Brooks, with Rebecca Eises and Ben Abel finishing in third place.

A night of sparkle, storytelling, and community spirit
The Strictly Experience 2026 saw a brand-new lineup of 20 brave local participants step out of their comfort zones and onto the stage at The Belgrade Theatre. Paired with professional dancers, they trained for eight weeks to perform two show-stopping routines inspired by the much-loved TV phenomenon Strictly Come Dancing.
Each couple performed either a waltz or a tango, alongside a highly personal “Couple’s Choice” routine, giving participants the opportunity to share their own stories through dance.
From elegant, sweeping ballroom to powerful, emotional performances, the evening delivered a moving and memorable showcase of both technical ability and personal expression. With a full theatre once again, audiences enjoyed spectacular costumes and production, emotional performances, a lively judging panel, audience voting and participation, and a truly electric atmosphere.
Making a difference through dance
Every ticket purchased, vote cast, and donation made went directly towards supporting Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind’s vital services across the region.
The incredible total of £49,100 will help fund essential mental health support, including crisis services, drop-in hubs, peer support programmes, and education initiatives, ensuring that no one has to face mental health challenges alone.
