Suicide First Aid
Suicide First Aid® is a one-day suicide prevention education programme, supported by City & Guilds, and delivered by qualified trainers from Coventry and Warwickshire Mind.
Suicide First Aid (SFA) training gives learners the tools and knowledge they need to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable deaths, as well as some basic skills can help someone with thoughts of suicide, cope with their thoughts, and stay alive.
Completing SFA training can significantly increase confidence and reduce anxiety in dealing with suicide, and has been described by independent evaluations as “the gold standard in suicide prevention training”.
