St Clair Gardens

A stepping stone and centre of excellence for adults moving towards recovery and independent living.

St Clair Gardens

St Clair Gardens is a modern, purpose-built recovery and rehabilitation centre in Coventry, easily accessible from across the city, Warwickshire, and the wider motorway network.

We are well placed to support individuals with a range of presenting needs, including autism and neurodiversity, as well as those experiencing enduring or undiagnosed mental illness. Our tailored approach ensures that each person receives the appropriate care, guidance, and therapeutic support to aid their recovery and rehabilitation journey, avoiding hospital readmission.

Offering 24/7 staffing, we provide professional care for adults with mental health needs, whether stepping down from hospital, requiring respite support for carers, or needing intensive support as an alternative to hospital placement. Our team of highly trained nurses, occupational therapist, and recovery professionals offer comprehensive care and support to adults transitioning from hospital or secure settings.

Our community based residential support is crucial for the rehabilitation journey

Our goal is to help residents successfully reintegrate into daily life within their community. Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, the leading voluntary mental health provider in the region, is uniquely placed to provide comprehensive wrap-around support services, including those for young adults (18-25) and adults age 26+, as well as those with autistic and neurodiverse needs. Clients can easily transition between St Clair Gardens and our wider services, such as housing, community, and crisis support, to aid their journey toward independent living.

Our purpose-built facility promotes community-oriented recovery with private and shared spaces. St Clair Gardens works with a multi-disciplinary team, which can include nurses, therapists, psychologists and care coordinators, working together to ensure safe, successful rehabilitation, reducing the need for extended hospital stays.

Our service offers step-up, step-down care, prioritising dignity and respect while helping individuals reintegrate into the community. St Clair Gardens goes beyond providing care by offering a clear pathway to long-term stability. Our comprehensive support network ensures a smooth transition to independent living, helping to minimise the chances of re-entering the system. Through the charity’s broader services, we link individuals to housing assistance, evening crisis support, drop-in hubs, and autism services, guaranteeing continued care after their time with us.
