We won not one, but two, Mind Federation awards
Our achievements
Quality standards help us to hold ourselves accountable and ensure our services are of high quality. Our sub-committees worked with service users and experts by experience to assess service standards and identify any potential improvement. We maintained our CQC ‘good’ rating at two of our residential support facilities and worked with an independent consultant to improve our environmental impact, which resulted in us achieving the ISO 14001 accreditation.
Coventry and Warwickshire Mind demonstrated well a sense of culture change whereby a vocal, passionate minority brought the rest of the organisation with them… the whole-organisation approach gave a real sense of collaboration. Judges at the Mind Federation Awards for the Environment Award
ISO 9001 recognises that we have processes in place for continuous improvement.
ISO 14001 recognises that we are working to improve our environmental impact.
We were re-awarded the Mind Quality Mark with minimal recommendations (all of which have been implemented), which recognises the high quality of our services.
Looking forward
We will continue to assess and develop our services and projects, to ensure they are supporting people in the best way possible. Our environment work will expand into different areas of the organisation, such as the construction of Berry Mews in 2025.
