Meet the team

We have a dedicated team of five Mental Health Nurses and one General Nurse, so there is always a nurse on duty, day and night. Alongside our Occupational Therapist, we have 17 caring Recovery Support Workers who help run daily activities and provide consistent support with everyday needs.

Every resident is personally supported by a named nurse and two Recovery Support Workers, who get to know them well and work closely with them on their care plans and personal goals. When needed, we also work with local health teams to make sure residents can access specialist psychological support.

Below, you’ll find a few profiles of team members to help put faces to the care we provide. While these individuals are featured, they represent just a small part of our dedicated team. Every member of staff plays an equally important role in supporting residents with compassion, care and commitment.

Danni, Occupational Therapist
I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2010 and have been working with Coventry and Warwickshire Mind ever since. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a range of services within the organisation, gaining valuable experience and insight into different areas of mental health support. Since 2018, I’ve been based at St Clair Gardens, where I’ve been part of the team since it first opened.
I’m passionate about working creatively with residents to support their recovery in a way that’s meaningful to them. My approach is holistic, focusing on all aspects of a person’s wellbeing to help them move forward on their recovery journey.

Edmund, Deputy Manager

I joined St Clair Gardens in 2020 as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, bringing with me over 18 years of experience in acute services and a strong foundation in mental health care. Now serving as Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead, I play a key role in supporting both residents and staff, working closely with the Registered Manager to uphold and continually improve the high standards of care across the service.

With a deep commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, I strive to help residents achieve their individual goals while ensuring our team’s objectives align with the broader mission of the organisation. As Clinical Lead, I also guide and support the staff team in delivering compassionate, person-centred care in accordance with CQC standards.

Driven by experience, empathy, and a passion for quality care, I am dedicated to fostering an environment where residents feel empowered and supported, and where staff are inspired to deliver their best every day.

Jo, Registered Manager
I began my journey at St Clair Gardens in October 2018 as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. It quickly became clear that this was a service with exceptional potential. After progressing into the Clinical Lead role, I was appointed Registered Manager in 2020 , a position that has allowed me to realise a vision of expanding and enhancing the care we provide.
With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, underpinned by a degree in Mental Health Nursing, my professional background has shaped a deeply person-centred approach to leadership and care. I have a strong belief in the power of stable, supportive environments to transform lives, particularly for individuals facing complex mental health and social challenges.
St Clair Gardens reflects this ethos. As Registered Manager, I am proud to lead a service that consistently delivers positive outcomes, supported by a dedicated and compassionate team. It is both an honour and a responsibility to ensure we continue to provide a safe, high-quality, and empowering environment for every person we support.

Kimberley, Head of Operations

Since November 2024, I have been leading operations at Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind as the Head of Operations, where I oversee all residential services, including St Clair Gardens.

Additionally, I am the Nominated Individual for CQC and act as the Clinical Lead.

My career has always been centred around housing and accommodation, with over 20 years of experience in offender and homelessness services across Coventry and Warwickshire. Throughout this time, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the importance of stable, supportive housing in improving outcomes for vulnerable populations.

St Clair Gardens is a truly special place to both work and live. We consistently achieve excellent outcomes for our residents and I am continually inspired by the dedication of our team and the resilience of the individuals we support.
